Chairman's Message
BismillahHirRahmanNirRahim, Assalamualaikum W.B.T.
May God’s Blessings and Peace be with you.
It is an honour and a pleasure for me to welcome all participants to the 26th IFNGO World Conference & 22nd IFNGO ASEAN NGO's Workshop with the theme, "Healthy Wholesome Communities: No Drugs." This year’s conference is special and unique. For the first time we will have three main events running concurrently. The 26th IFNGO World Conference & 22nd IFNGO ASEAN NGO's Workshop will be held in Putrajaya while the ASEAN Youth Workshop will be conducted in the historical city of Malacca. Participants from these three events will come together for a joint session on the nal day of the main conference.
The community plays an important role in providing the environment that can promote a healthy lifestyle where drugs have no legitimate place to exist or to prosper. With this environment, we will have a better chance of keeping our children, our youths and ourselves free of drugs. To achieve this goal, we all have to work together in tandem and with dedication to make it a success.
PEMADAM has always been in the fore front in this country to ght against the drug scourge. PEMADAM has continuosly shown our commitments to work with the global community to eradicate this human catastrophe. In hosting this conference, PEMADAM reiterate this commitment to be a major stakeholder in ensuring healthy wholesome communities that consider drugs as an abomination. Let us then work together to achieve this common shared goals. This conference will truly be a global experience and hope all participants will enjoy the experience thoroughly.
